  • Because every project is different, we always like to chat with potential clients before sending over a proposal.

    After we've had a chance to talk about your unique business goals, we'll put together a proposal tailored to fit your specific needs.

    We have transparent pricing for our packages that you can find on our services page.

    As a ballpark figure, a typical client spend on branding and packaging is around £5-10K depending on the specific deliverables.

    If you’re looking for something more wallet-friendly, our studio days deliver high-quality custom design within a week.

  • We specialise in early-stage CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) brands - but if you’re outside that space, don’t let that stop you. We often take on projects beyond the CPG world and would love to hear what you’re working on. Not sure if it’s the right fit? Get in touch and we’ll happily let you know.

  • Each project varies in scope so the particular timings do vary. Our core packages on our Services page include details on the relevant timeframe.

  • We'll review your information and if it looks like we could be a good fit, we’ll schedule an intro call with Claudia, our Founder & Creative Director, who’ll introduce Freckle, answer any questions you may have and determine the project scope.

    Then we’ll send you a project proposal and if you’re happy to go ahead and accept it, we’ll send you a contract to sign and an invoice for 50% of the project cost upfront.

  • Because our client base is predominantly made up of young businesses, we tailor our pricing to reflect that so we aren’t able to offer any discounts.

  • If your enquiry is urgent and we are able to accommodate you in our schedule then we will of course try to fit you in! There may be a rush fee depending on the deadline and specific deliverables.

  • We typically break up the total cost into 2 payments depending on how big the project is, billing for a non-refundable 50% upfront on all projects.

    Working with young brands, we get that investing in design is a big investment, so we are flexible and happy to discuss extended payment plans that work best with your budget.

    The final invoice for the remainder of your project's cost will be issued upon final approval of your branding assets, and before we send you your file suite.


    All invoices are sent via Dubsado and you can either pay online with a credit card or via bank transfer.

  • All deposits are non-refundable as it is our way of securing your booking. We book projects several weeks ahead of time, and scheduling ensures that we give all of my clients the proper amount of time that their project deserves.

    If you back out of the project, you may leave an empty spot that could have been given to another project. The deposits ensure that clients are serious about moving forward with the project.

  • If for some reason you are still not happy after two rounds of refinements, we will continue the refinement process at our current hourly rate.

    We go through an in-depth questionnaire and briefing process in the beginning to make sure we are on the same page, so most of the time 2 refinement rounds are plenty!

  • You’ll be working closely with Claudia, Freckle’s founder, who leads on creative direction and will be your main point of contact throughout the project. Juliette, our Senior Designer, supports most projects – bringing an extra pair of hands (and eyes) to ensure every detail is just right.

    We also collaborate with a small team of specialist freelancers – from copywriters to web developers – who jump in when the project calls for their expertise.

    At each stage of the process, you’ll be able to book a mid-project Zoom catch-up to share feedback and check in on progress.

    To keep everything organised, we’ll set you up with a dedicated client dashboard in Notion, our project hub for timelines, files, and all the important details in one easy place.

  • Nope! We don’t offer marketing strategy work but it’s important to have a solid brand strategy in place before working up a marketing plan.

    Your brand strategy is a comprehensive document that gives you a clear idea of your foundations as a brand, answering questions like who your brand is, how you fit in the market, and who you’re talking to.

  • Great news! The studio’s availability varies throughout the year, but we typically book projects a couple of weeks in advance. If you have something urgent, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
